Opened June 25, 2011, and closed December 7, 2014. Located on Floor 2 in the Akeley Gallery at the American Museum of Natural History. "Picturing Science: Museum Scientists and Imaging Technologies" was an exhibit that showed how cutting-edge imaging technologies such as infrared photography, scanning electron microscopes (SEM), and CT scanners are able to make it possible to examine details that were previously unobservable - be it parasites, people, or planets in other solar systems.
