Description
Spotted Skunk and Cacomistle. Older leaf - occasionally turns yellow at tip; Local color of leaf (top and underside are the same); Actual size; Leaf patterns; Spiral to left; Plan; Leaves appear in clusters of three; #8077; Cacomistl and Wood Rat; Plant #2 - Shiprock, N.M.; Ray de Lucia 6/10/40. This item contains an illustration and studies of an unknown plant. The plant has a brown stalk on which grows a vertical stem with clusters of small green leaves. Some leaves near the base of the stem are green with yellow tips. Text indicates that these are old leaves and a large, green color note shows the graduation of hue in the leaves in a single tile. Pencil illustrations on the right side of the item provide detailed views of the leaves. 9 x 10 in.
