Title
Main street of the village
Description
From Anthropology Scrapbook: Looking eastward up the river along the main street of the village about three miles above the Rivers Inlet cannery just at the head of Rivers Inlet. This village is on an island in the little lake below Owekano Lake. The nettles were growing up high and had to be beaten down with a stick when this picture was taken. A view looking in the opposite direction along this street showing the same poles and house fronts is shown in No. 46067. The men were all away fishing at the salmon canneries and the women were working in the canneries
