Description
From Anthropology Scrapbook: Looking westward down the stream at the upper end of the Bella Coola village. For details of these poles see Nos. 46084, 5, 6, 7 and 8. The view shows nearly to the treeless flat at the mouth of the river. The first pole on the left was purchased for the museum, but the man standing on top of it was not included in the sale. The pole on the right also purchased 16.1/554 but carved man on top not included. Nearest pole= 16.1/438
