Harp, Azande
Description
The Azande produced harps earlier than their southern neighbors, the Mangbetu and the Meje. This harp depicts a Zande style of hairdress. It also has pegs on the left, a feature that distinguishes it from Mangbetu harps, which have pegs on the right.
Materials: Wood, stain, cord, hide, plant fiber.
