Sansa musical instrument, thumb piano, Zande. Collected during the American Museum Congo Expedition (1909-1915). | People throughout Africa play the sansa. This Zande instrument is constructed in the form of a woman, complete with a negbe and a barkcloth that covers a detailed depictions of her genitalia.
