Description
Mangbetu men wore a belt to hold their barkcloth in place, but some also served as charms. Land wrote of this object, "A belt to be fastened above the ordinary belt for protection. A fine sample with a bunch of wart hog bristles in the front" (2226).
Materials: Plant fiber, hair, coating, cord.
