Description
Lang described "pieces of bark cloth as worn by the women upon their right shoulder. These little pieces are nearly always carried about whenever a woman sits down she lays it first upon the stool. She seldom would sit down without having laid previously such a little piece of bark cloth upon the spot she wants to sit down" (1455).
