Description
The Congo Expedition was originally planned to last for two years. Instead, Lang and Chapin stayed for six, sometimes working in different locations for periods of time. They returned to New York in 1915 with fifty-four tons of materials, including mammals, birds, reptiles, fish, and invertebrates, as well as ethnographic materials.
